Mr. Beloussov is a successful self-made entrepreneur and business executive with an outstanding 15-year track record in building, growing and leading high-performing, multi-national high tech companies in North America, Europe and Asia. Since 2003, he has been the Chairman and CEO of Parallels, a global leader in virtualization and automation software for consumers, businesses and service providers. Under Mr. Beloussov's leadership, Parallels has quickly grown to profitability and #1 market positions with its innovative desktop virtualization, OS containers and control panel product lines. He is also a Founder and major investor in Acronis, a global leader in storage management and disaster recovery software for consumers, SMBs and large enterprises. Previously, Mr. Beloussov co-founded and helped grow a PC manufacturing business to $150 million in revenue in less than 3 years, the S&W electronics company to over $500 million in only 8 years, Solomon Software SEA - each of which has become the first year of inception. He holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. in Physics and Electrical Engineering with High Honors, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Mr. Levine focuses primarily on software and Internet investments for Bessemer. Prior to joining BVP in 2001, Jeremy was Vice President of Operations at Dash, an Internet software publisher. Jeremy joined Dash from AEA Investors, a private equity firm with an expertise in leveraged and management buyouts, where he specialized in consumer products and light industrials in the U.S. and in Europe. Earlier, he was a management consultant with McKinsey and Company, helping Fortune 500 financial services and consumer products companies address challenges in strategy and technology. Jeremy graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Economics.
Mr. Triplett joined Insight in 1998. Mr. Triplett was an investment professional at Summit Partners, where he focused on investments in infrastructure and enterprise application software companies. Prior to joining Summit, Mr. Triplett worked as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley & Co. and at Midland Data Systems. Mr. Triplett graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Economics, cum laude.
Mr. Zubarev is a founder and the president of Parallels’ Service Provider division worldwide including sales and operations for hosting and software-as-a-service (SaaS). Since the company's founding in 1999, he has held multiple leadership roles within the company including chief operating officer, sales engineering, product marketing and business development. Zubarev has been instrumental in building the company from its start to today with more than 900 employees. Zubarev was also a founder of Acronis and helped establish the storage management company's sales and marketing organizations in the United States. Previously, he handled product marketing for Pervasive Software and brought its first Linux product to market. Zubarev holds a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Dr. Galitsky is an internationally renowned technology entrepreneur and inventor. During Soviet times, he was the youngest top technical executive in the defense industry with responsibility for low orbit data communication systems. Since then, Galitsky has founded four successful technology companies. He pioneered ELVIS+ in WiFi technology and commercial implementation of FW/VPN products for the global market with Sun Microsystems. With TrustWorks, he became a "Technology Pioneer" at the Davos World Economic Forum 2000. Galitsky was recently Venture Partner with Russian Technologies Fund and recently founded Almaz Capital Partners, a USA-Russian based VC fund. Dr. Galitsky has authored more than a hundred international publications and more than 30 inventions and patents. He's been a featured speaker at numerous international conferences and has been interviewed and profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The New York Times, The Financial Times. Dr. Galitsky received his Ph.D in Computer Science from joint authority of the Defense Research Institute/MIPT in Moscow.
Mr. Zbikowski is a former Microsoft Architect and one of the first computer hackers. He started working at the company only a few years after its inception, leading efforts in MS-DOS, OS/2, Cairo and Windows NT. In 2006, Zbikowski was honored for 25 years of service with the company and the first employee to reach this milestone other than Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. He was the designer of the DOS executable file format, used in MS-DOS executable files, and his initials grace the headers of that file format. Zbikowski was an architect, development manager and key contributor to Cairo, leading the file system (Object File System specifically) and content index efforts. He worked on the Windows NT kernel, focusing on performance and size, before becoming architect and development manager for NT file systems. Zbikowski retired from Microsoft in June of 2006. He is currently a technical adviser to and investor in Blue Dot and a lecturer at the University of Washington. He holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard in applied mathematics and a master's degree from Yale.
Mr. Wirt joined In-Q-Tel from Intel Corporation where he served Vice President, Intel Senior Fellow and General Manager of Intel Corporation's Software and Solutions Group. He started at Intel in 1981 as part of the Intel team that worked with IBM on software for the first IBM PC platform was instrumental in creating and enhancing the value of Intel's silicon and platforms through innovation in software technology. Mr. Wirt served in the Peace Corps in the 1960s and taught mathematics in the South Pacific Islands. Currently, Mr. Wirt serves on the Open Source Development Lab board that helps set the Linux roadmap for the industry. He also serves on the Board of Advisors in Computer Science and Engineering for both John Hopkins University and University of Illinois, and is the Intel representative on the Board of Directors for the Enterprise Grid Alliance. Mr. Wirt received his doctorate in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics.
